Fantastic Beasts: Paris Premiere.

The World premiere of “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is happening right now at

UGC Ciné Cité Bercy

in Paris,

along with participating cinemas throughout France. The main cast attended the red carpet, but as most of us expected, Johnny couldn’t go. We all know he has a really busy schedule and the last thing we know is that he is in the middle of a filming somewhere in Morocco for the upcoming “Waiting for the Barbarians” movie.

This month, there’s 2 premieres schedule to happen: Next tuesday (November 13) at

Leicester Square in London, and in Tokyo in November 21. Some months ago, the USA premiere was set to happen in New York, today (November 8), later when the official dates were announced the NY date became

absent, and now, for unknown reasons, it’s said that the premiere was cancelled.

As the main character in this movie, many fans missed Johnny’s presence today, but we do hope he goes to the London Premiere.

Ps.

David Yates already has the script for Fantastic Beasts 3 in hands. J.K. Rowling sent to him few weeks ago.

To celebrate the 7 DAYS left to “Fantastic

the poster shown in the November issue of Total Film Magazine, where you can see the investigation wall of the French Ministry of Magic.
I couldn’t find the right photo, so I added
the promotional photo instead.
Oh, If you missed, I already made a similar poster in English. Check it HERE.

> Here is the translation for what is written on
the poster:

The Hollywood Vampires posted an update video on the instagram with Johnny and Tommy finishing the upcoming album in France!

Ps. Some days ago, Tommy posted a photo talking about Johnny and “Richard Says Goodbye” while he was in Zurich, and now we know that it was a screenshot from this video, and that the video was recorded while they were in France.
Ps2.  The song playing on the video is “Cold Metal” from Iggy Pop.

“- Are you a John or a Jonathan?
– I’m Jonathan. You must be Johnny.
– Johnny, John… I’m a John. Is it Jon-a-than or Jon-a-thon? I’m John Christopher Depp II. I have a number after my name which makes me sound… I don’t know, grander than I should be.”

Johnny and the BritishGQ interviewer Jonathan Heaf, in Plan-de-la-Tour, France, last August 16.

“- Don’t f*ck with me! – screams Liana. …

“- Don’t f*ck with me! – screams Liana.
 – I thought I already did… – replies Dean.”

19 years ago, today, (August 25), “The
Ninth Gate”
premiered in San Sebastián, Spain and also
was theatrically released in France and Belgium. The mystery/thriller film was directed,
produced, and co-written by Roman Polanski, in an international co-production
between the United States, Portugal, France, and Spain and is loosely based upon
Arturo Pérez-Reverte’s 1993 novel “The Club Dumas”. After the European release,
the movie was screened in New York and Los Angeles on Christmas Day, but only
hit the American theaters 7 months later, in March, opening the worldwide
release. In this movie, Johnny plays Dean Corso a
sneaky book dealer wrapped in a mysterious conspiracy with supernatural overtones.

> Synopsis: Dean
Corso, a smart book dealer specialized in tracking down rare and exotic volumes
for collectors, is hired by Boris Balkan (Frank Langella), a Satanist with the
world’s largest collection of ungodly books, who has recently acquired a
seventeenth-century satanic book called “The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of the
Shadows” which is said to be written by Satan himself, and allows its user to
summon the Devil and enter the Underworld. But Boris wonders if his volume is
the true one, once it’s said that there’s three copies to exist. Offering a
huge amount of money, the man wants Dean to find the other versions and check
if his book is the authentic one. Dean accepts the task, but as soon he puts
his hands in the devilish book, he finds himself at the center of strange and
violent goings-on.

> Curiosities:

* During the shooting in France, Johnny met
Vanessa Paradis for the second time and than started their relationship.

* When Johnny met Polanski
at the Cannes Film Festival, while promoting The Brave, and the director was producing the movie, Polanski

didn’t
think in Johnny  as Dean Corso, because the character was forty years
old, while Johnny was 34. He even considered an older actor, but Depp persisted,
because he wanted to work with the director.

* While filming, Roman Polanski advised
Johnny  to stop smoking, once he was
doing it too much, but Johnny said: “Why stop something I do so well?”

* Busy agenda: Two months after finishing the
“The Astronaut’s Wife”, filmed in the USA, Johnny travelled to Europe and
filmed “The Ninth Gate” in Portugal, France and Spain for five months. When the
filming finished, he resta bit and later travelled to London, where Tim
Burton was waiting for him to discuss about their next movie. Four months
later they start to film “Sleepy Hollow”.
