When a murder occurs on the train he’s travelling on, celebrated detective Hercule Poirot is recruited to solve the case.
I watched this movie a couple of weeks back therefore this review will be flawed due to the lack of details. Long story short, I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I’d expected. Bear in mind that I had never read the book nor did I research on the movie, I merely watched the trailer once (and even then, I got nothing out of it). I only wanted to watch this movie so badly because 1) Johnny Depp and 2) the rest of the amazing cast!
Considering this review is long overdue, here is my summarised movie review. First of all, the plot was so good! The introduction to every crucial character, to the beginning of the case, to investigation and the foreshadowed clues, then the revelation and the end. A lovely animated art indeed. Needless to say, the acting by the cast was brilliant too. Special effects or soundtrack wise, nothing much. But the cinematography and location where the film was filmed completely won my heart. Additionally, the script was also wonderfully written, there were bits of humour in the script and thanks to that, it made the movie slightly less serious.
Overall, Murder on the Orient Express is worth the watch. I urge all of you to watch it at least once.
